The town of Hvar is a unique fusion of luxurious Mediterranean nature, rich cultural and historical heritage, and mundane, tourist present.

Hvar belongs to the middle-Dalmatian islands. It is situated in Split-Dalmatia County, in the midst of a group of islands that are part of the county.
