ZTP was established in August 2008. To foster the synergy of science and entrepreneurship at the regional, national and international level. The first is the science and technology park in Croatia, was founded at the initiative of the University of Rijeka, which supported the City of Rijeka and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County as partners. Project Science and Technology Park, University of Rijeka Ltd. participates in the Programme of development of technology infrastructure - TEHCRO - which is funded by the Business Innovation Centre Croatian - BICRO under the Programme for the promotion of entrepreneurship based on innovation and new technologies.
ZTP mission is to create a scientific-technological and business environment that inspires and encourages the development of science, innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit by providing adequate infrastructure, professional services, consulting and strategic approach to Network.
