Opatija at MEETEX 2026: new contacts and a stronger congress offering

In the very center of Zagreb, at 26 Gundulićeva Street, BrickClub is set to open soon – a private cinema space offering a different approach to watching films, series, sports broadcasts, and major television events, all in complete privacy for small, closed groups.
Discreet business meetings and private screenings
Located in an authentic brick basement of a building dating back to 1880, BrickClub is designed as a private mini cinema with a capacity of up to 12 people. The venue is intended for pre-arranged groups, friends and families, but also for business partners, management teams, and guests looking for a discreet, focused, and content-rich setting for meetings, presentations, client screenings, or strategic sessions in a more relaxed yet controlled environment.
At the heart of the BrickClub concept is shared viewing of content chosen by the guests themselves – from films and series to sports competitions and major television events such as the Oscars, Eurovision, the UEFA Champions League final, the Super Bowl, and other broadcasts of special interest. All content is presented in high resolution on a screen measuring around four meters diagonally, with surround sound and luxury cinema seating, creating a private cinema experience on the level of premium residential and hospitality spaces.

„BrickClub was created from a very clear need – for a space that allows focus, privacy, and a high-quality experience, without compromise. Whether it is a business meeting, a private presentation, shared viewing of an important event, or a relaxed social gathering, the idea is for guests to have complete control over the content, the atmosphere, and the time they spend together“, says Domagoj Mak, founder of BrickClub.
The interior of BrickClub has been designed with a strong emphasis on the authenticity of the space, functionality, and subtle elegance. Exposed brick walls and arched ceilings have been preserved as key aesthetic features, while the lighting, acoustics, and technology have been discreetly integrated to serve the experience rather than dominate the space.
A new standard for boutique experiences in Zagreb
BrickClub does not operate as a walk-in venue; the space is available exclusively by prior reservation, and only one small group of guests is present at any given time. This operating model ensures complete privacy, no outside distractions, and a high level of discretion, making BrickClub particularly appealing to business users, VIP guests, and smaller corporate gatherings.

The venue offering includes the essential cinema staple of popcorn, a selection of carefully chosen drinks, and the option of catering arranged in cooperation with external partners, tailored to the type of event and guests’ expectations. This positions BrickClub as a flexible venue equally suited to informal business meetings, presentations, team meetings, private screenings, as well as private film and sports evenings.
BrickClub is scheduled to open soon, with reservations and additional information to be available through its official communication channels and website.
