Sports legends delight Novigrad – first Croatian edition of Simposar successfully held
The best was saved for last. In this case quite literally, at the end of the Istrian roads, in Bajkini. That is where one of the most exclusive automotive stories of this summer came to an end.
Guests of the Bentley Riviera Drive - a program organized in Istria during July and August by Bentley and Maistra Collection—set off from Rovinj behind the wheel of a Bentley on a journey across Istria. The route led them along coastal roads and through the peninsula's inland, past vineyards and olive groves, with the drive being only part of a carefully curated experience.
At the Rossi Winery and Distillery, they were welcomed with dinner, Rossi family wines and spirits, signature cocktails and a private Bentley Sunset Sessions program under the slogan "Money can't buy experience".
What is it about Bajkini, a small village near Vižinada?
This summer, Bentley built its program in Istria around the synthesis of driving, scenery, gastronomy and tradition. The idea was not merely to cover miles, but to get to know the destination through its roads, flavors and people.
In such a concept, Bajkini naturally became the final destination of the trip. The small village near Vižinada offered precisely what a program of this caliber demands: authenticity, privacy and a space where the experience continues even after the engines are turned off.
"Major brands do not look merely for a beautiful location. They look for authenticity, privacy and the opportunity to offer their guests a memorable experience. That is precisely what we can deliver in Bajkini," says Filip Rossi, who is in charge of marketing and hospitality.
Wine and spirits are not the only story
The Rossi family has been producing wine since 1885. Today, the fifth generation - brothers Luka, Marko and Filip - develops spirits, cocktails and various formats of guided tastings and events alongside their wines.
"The tasting room can thus become a private dining room, the terrace a dinner venue, and the entire estate a backdrop for an event that does not happen every day. It is important to us that guests do not feel as though they have arrived at just another organized program. We want them to catch a glimpse of what is truly ours, of a family story and authentic Istria," says Luka Rossi, director of the family winery and distillery, who also holds the important position of President of Vinistra, the association of Istrian viticulturists and winemakers.
