Artificial intelligence can write a text, generate a visual or explain study material in a matter of seconds. The jobs for which today's students are studying are changing while they are still at university, the creative industry is demanding new working models, and a career increasingly rarely means a single profession for a lifetime. So what is actually worth learning? Which skills will matter in a few years? What does creative work look like in the time of AI? And does a career even have to have one predetermined direction?

Precisely such questions will be opened at the 11th edition of the LEAP Summit, which will take place on 20 October at the Zagreb Fair. The single-day programme across two stages will bring together artificial intelligence, technology, creative industries, education, entrepreneurship, finance, psychology and new media.

If AI knows almost everything, what is education for?

One of the questions that perhaps best describes the moment in which the new generation finds itself will be posed by Ana Lalić from IntegralEdu. In her lecture What Is Education For When AI Knows Everything?, she will raise the question of what education should provide to young people when access to knowledge is no longer what distinguishes humans from technology. An international perspective will be brought by Asavari Moon, Global AI and Marketing Leader and founder of FutureEdge Academy, who deals with the relationship between artificial intelligence, marketing and new competences. However, the changes brought by AI are not reserved solely for the tech industry. They are already changing the way ideas, brands and creative jobs are created.

What does creative agency 2.0 look like?

Speaking about this, among others, will be Nikola Žinić, founder of 5068.agency and one of the best-known Croatian creatives. Behind him is more than 30 years of experience in branding, communications and innovations, as well as more than 650 international and regional awards that Bruketa&Žinić has won, including two Cannes Lions. His current project 5068.agency starts from the idea that brands can no longer be created for a single predictable future because culture, technology and people's behaviour are changing too fast. At LEAP, Žinić will be part of the conversation Creative Agency 2.0, dedicated to how creative agencies are changing and the way creative projects are created today.

The conversation is also joined by Luka Mavretić, dramaturg, screenwriter and creative who gained experience in agencies Utorak. Biro za propagandu and Imago Ogilvy, and today is the co-owner and creative director of his own agency Jedno cijelo tri.

From engineer to stand-up comedian – and from advertising to a Guinness World Record

That a professional path does not have to look the way we originally imagined it is also shown by Igor Mladinović. He graduated in mechanical engineering, spent nearly two decades in advertising and won the first Croatian Cannes Lion with the team at Imago, and then transferred creativity into projects such as La Štruka, Cravaticum and Home of the Dalmatian Dog, for which he and his team also set a Guinness World Record.

Yet another completely different career pivot was made by Antonio Morić. After eight years of work as an electrical engineer, he dedicated himself to stand-up comedy. Today, together with Leon Kondres, he hosts the Urlaona podcast, and at LEAP he will discuss through the Funny Business panel what happens when humour goes from being a hobby to a serious business.

The programme will not stop at work and technology. Tanja Jurin, clinical psychologist, psychotherapist and sex therapist, brings a perspective on mental health and relationships, while the rest of the programme will also open up topics of finance, new media, gaming, entrepreneurship and communications.

To LEAP as a team – a 3+1 option is also available

Since LEAP is primarily intended for young people, alongside individual tickets, a 3+1 option is now also available – when purchasing three tickets, the fourth is included at no additional charge. The idea is simple: gather a team from uni, work or friends and choose the topics that interest you most together between two stages.

Through ten editions so far, LEAP has built a community of more than 15,000 young people from 40+ countries, and its stages have hosted representatives from NASA, ESA, Disney, LEGO, Adidas, TikTok and Tinder.

The LEAP Summit 2026 is taking place on 20 October at the Zagreb Fair. More information about the programme, speakers and tickets is available on the official website.
