New investments by Plava Laguna: Minister Glavina visited the renovated Hotel Garden Istra and the Savudrija Resort construction site
Aminess, FEAL and Texo Molior have been selected as investors in the recapitalisation process of the Crikvenica hotelier Jadran d.d. through a joint consortium. Upon completion of the recapitalisation, the consortium will acquire a 53.74% ownership stake in the company, while existing institutional shareholders, including Croatian mandatory pension funds, will remain important minority partners in the further development of the company.
This investment marks the beginning of a new development chapter for Jadran d.d., one of the most prominent Croatian hotel companies with a tradition of over 60 years. Today, the company manages 12 accommodation properties across four attractive destinations on the Crikvenica Riviera, the island of Krk, the Makarska Riviera and the island of Brač - offering approximately 2,000 accommodation units and employing over 490 staff members.
Subject to the adoption of the proposed decisions by the General Assembly, the fulfillment of all recapitalisation conditions and the receipt of required regulatory approvals, including approval from the Croatian Competition Agency, the consortium will acquire a majority stake in Jadran d.d. with the intention of stabilizing operations, improving operational efficiency and creating preconditions for the company's long-term development.
The consortium brings complementary knowledge and experience
The strength of the consortium is built on the complementary knowledge and experience of its members. Aminess brings expertise in hotel management and development, FEAL brings experience in investments and development projects, while Texo Molior contributes strong engineering, construction and project management capabilities. The joint goal of the partners is to secure a stable ownership and development platform for the long-term improvement of Jadran d.d.'s operations and overall value.
Aminess will bring to Jadran the knowledge and experience gained through the group's ongoing development, the successful integration of new companies and properties into its portfolio, and continuous operational improvements across various Croatian destinations. With a strong focus on product and service quality, marketing and sales, revenue management, business digitalisation, employee development and operational excellence, the goal is to work alongside partners to establish the foundation for stable business operations, long-term sustainable growth and the further strengthening of Jadran's competitiveness.
A particular highlight of this investment is that Jadran's entire portfolio is located in destinations where Aminess already operates. This opens up significant opportunities for operational synergies, knowledge sharing, more efficient management and further enhancing product quality and guest experience.
