Andreas Feldhoff took over the role of Resort General Manager at Falkensteiner Punta Skala Resort on 1 April last year. Over the past year, he has already played a major role in key development and positioning projects within the resort and provided important momentum for its further strategic growth.

Originally from Germany, he brings more than 20 years of international experience in luxury hospitality. His career includes senior roles across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, marked by successful management of complex hotel and resort structures, as well as the development of service, quality and F&B concepts. Most recently, he worked for Marriott International in the Middle East, including as Area Director of Operations for the UAE, Oman and Lebanon, with responsibility for 58 hotels. He has also been involved in several luxury pre-opening projects, from concept stage to successful launch, leaving a lasting impact on service quality, operational excellence and financial stability.

Feldhoff holds a degree in economics with a focus on tourism management from the University of Trier and has also completed an executive programme in hotel real estate investment and asset management at Cornell University. He has received several awards for his achievements, including the Marriott Leader of the Year Award and the Leadership Diamond Award.

In his new role, Andreas Feldhoff has a clear vision for Punta Skala: the consistent further development of the resort into a fully integrated destination with an international reputation – both for guests and for the people who work there. Particular emphasis is being placed on a strong team, clear structures and a modern leadership culture that encourages development, collaboration and long-term career prospects.

Ahead of the upcoming summer season, the resort is further expanding its international team. Falkensteiner is positioning itself as an employer that consciously invests in its people – through targeted training programmes, international career opportunities within the group and attractive working conditions in a dynamic resort environment.

A newly built staff accommodation building offers modern, high-quality housing directly within the resort, creating optimal conditions for an international team. Through this project, Falkensteiner is making a targeted investment in quality of life, community and long-term prospects for its employees – a key factor in further strengthening Punta Skala as an attractive workplace within Europe’s resort hospitality sector.

At the same time, the resort continues to implement its long-term development strategy: Aurora Residences, apartments integrated into the resort’s infrastructure, are set to open in June this year.

Another important step is the planned Azura project, with construction scheduled to begin in autumn 2026. The project includes six seafront villas and 94 apartments with one to three bedrooms across seven buildings. The architecture is once again signed by the internationally renowned Podrecca studio, while the interior design is being created by Aggi Bruch.

With this expansion, Punta Skala is further evolving into a diverse premium lifestyle destination on the Adriatic coast. The Zadar region plays a key role in Falkensteiner’s strategic development. Punta Skala is not only a tourism asset, but also an important employer and a place of education in the region. Through continuous investment, international career opportunities and sustainable development, the resort is making a significant contribution to the destination’s economic and tourism momentum.

With Andreas Feldhoff at the helm, Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala is building on experienced leadership, a clear vision and a strong team – with the aim of positioning the resort in the long term as one of Croatia’s leading resort destinations, as well as an inspiring place to work and grow professionally.
