The most valuable conversations, partnerships and innovations at the Liftoff conference often happen outside the conference hall

The new edition of the region's leading AI conference is once again gathering top experts in Split. Hundreds of key figures from companies across the region will fill the audiences at the Automation Summit stages to hear about successful examples of AI implementation in business, as well as crucial mistakes and questions. For the third consecutive year, the Le Meridien Lav hotel will become the centre defining the future of business for two days in October.
"A year ago, AI and automation were projects. Today, they are part of everyday business operations. What is happening abroad is happening here too, just as quickly, and it is worth noticing it in time. Agentic systems, autonomous decisions, tools that connect and work together on their own - all of this is no longer a story about the future. This is what the market is already adopting, step by step," says Darko Jovišić, CEO and co-founder of Robotiq.ai.

"Automation Summit is the place where you can see where things are headed and where you can discuss how to get started with the right people. Those who attend will find it easier to catch up. And those who start now will be the ones setting the pace later."
This potential has been recognised by the team behind the Money Motion conference, which is joining the organisation of Automation Summit this year as a key business event of the season, with the support of OTP banka and Visa.
"It no longer makes sense to emphasise how quickly technology, standards and market expectations are changing. This applies to all industries. To adapt in time and maintain competitiveness, it is crucial to stay in touch with the latest solutions and real-time examples," highlights Robert Penezić, Director and co-founder of Money Motion.
This is exactly what the main stage content will focus on during 15 and 16 October. Automation Summit will feature more than 20 speakers whose stories, based on concrete cases, provide ultimate inspiration.
One of them is the co-founder of the most successful Croatian startup in recent years. Within less than three years, Kristian Kamber, alongside Ante Gojsalić, achieved the largest investment round for a startup in our market with SplxAI, a company that protects users from AI security risks, and sold it a few months later to Zscaler, a global cybersecurity giant.
Cybersecurity in a digital world increasingly based on artificial intelligence will be one of the key themes of the conference. Alongside it, agentic business operations will also take centre stage, particularly within the financial sector.
"Digital transformation is accelerating faster than ever today, and artificial intelligence is establishing itself more strongly than ever as a key factor across all industries. It is changing the way companies operate, develop products and shape their user experiences. At Visa, we see artificial intelligence as an important driver of smarter, safer and simpler business - from payments and security to risk management and creating more personalised and intuitive user solutions," says Renata Vujasinović, Country Manager for Visa in Croatia.
She points out that they see particular progress in the field of agentic operations. Through initiatives such as Visa Intelligent Commerce, they are exploring how AI agents can help users search for options, make decisions and conduct transactions in an increasingly autonomous way, with Visa providing a secure and reliable payment layer that builds trust in the new generation of digital commerce.
"For us, participating in the Automation Summit represents a valuable opportunity for dialogue on developing AI solutions that foster useful innovations, while simultaneously preserving the highest standards of security, responsibility and compliance."
Ivan Šimičević, a member of the Management Board of OTP banka, agrees that this is a truly exciting period in the industry. "Banking is undergoing one of the greatest transformations in its history. Digitalisation and automation have already changed the way we do business, while artificial intelligence opens up entirely new possibilities for personalising services, enhancing user experience, managing risks and increasing operational efficiency. As a bank that actively invests in technological development, we recognise the importance of platforms that bring together experts, business leaders and innovators. That is why we are proud to have supported the Automation Summit since its very first edition. We believe that it is precisely through dialogue, sharing experiences and presenting concrete solutions that we can accelerate the digital transformation of the Croatian economy and create additional value for citizens and businesses."
How to align multi-agent systems, what the future holds for investing and portfolio management, how to scale automation across different departments, whether and how much we should worry about compliance and regulations, and what will happen to jobs are just some of the burning questions that top experts will address on the conference's main stage. Real-world examples from various industries will be presented through concrete live demo presentations.
Automation Summit also features a special 'Workshop stage' dedicated to workshops that will replace the debates from the main stage. After both conference days, guests will continue to network and exchange ideas during the informal part of the conference, including the closing party.
