Aminess Hotels & Resorts, one of Croatia’s leading and fastest-growing tourism companies, will host the international sports symposium Simposar this year, which is coming to Croatia for the first time. The event will take place at Aminess Vival Maestral Hotel and the Novigrad Centre for Events and Culture from May 11 to 13.

Simposar was launched in 2011 in Sarajevo and over the past 15 years has brought together key figures from the worlds of business and sport, as well as media representatives. This leading sports symposium in Southeast Europe has so far hosted more than 250 speakers from over 20 countries, connecting sports legends and rising stars, coaches, leaders, investors and decision-makers from across the region and beyond.

We are proud to welcome top talents and experts from the world of sport, and that Novigrad has been chosen as the host of the first Simposar Croatia 2026 edition. As one of the most attractive destinations on the Adriatic, Novigrad offers the perfect blend of Mediterranean hospitality and luxury, and I believe this exclusive edition of Simposar will provide participants with an unforgettable experience, knowledge exchange and networking opportunities,” said Vesna Ferenac, Director of the Novigrad-Cittanova Tourist Board.

The list of participants expected in Novigrad is led by Zlatko Dalić, the most successful and longest-serving head coach in the history of the Croatian national football team, who will share his experiences on the road to historic world medals. Joining him are Željko Jerkov, Matjaž Kek, Ivica Tucak, Rade Bogdanović, Husref Musemić, Zoran Zekić, Željko Pavličević, Joško Jeličić, Igor Bišćan, as well as a delegation of the Croatian Football Federation.
