Manuela Šola: Croatian event industry needs a bolder step into technology and more dynamic formats
At Hotel Pinija in Petrčane, TOURiSK will take place this year from 13 to 15 April, bringing together leading experts in security, crisis management, and tourism with the aim of exchanging knowledge, shaping new trends, and opening space for strategic cooperation across the sector.
The conference will gather more than 200 participants from leading Croatian and international companies and institutions, and the programme will feature inspiring lectures and panel discussions focused on the latest practices and current challenges in tourism risk management. The focus will be on prevention, preparedness, and stakeholder coordination in situations that may affect guest safety, destination reputation, and business continuity.
TOURiSK is intended for professionals from public and government institutions connected to tourism (the Croatian National Tourist Board, ministries, the Croatian Chamber of Economy, civil protection, and others), as well as hotel, campsite, marina, and port authority management, the academic community and tourism students, private accommodation providers and restaurateurs, event organisers, club owners, and professionals from the meetings industry. It is also particularly relevant for tourism risk management experts, as well as companies from related sectors such as transport, security, IT, insurance, and the food supply chain.
