The Croatian National Tourist Board presented the meetings industry offer at this year's edition of the Events Club Forum, which took place in Prague and was organised by Europe Congress. It is an international B2B event focused on the business event industry, which gathers organisers of business and corporate events and selected service providers from the MICE sector.

The Events Club Forum is based on a combination of pre-arranged individual B2B meetings, presentations, educational content and networking activities, which provides participants with the opportunity to directly connect with potential business partners. Participants thus had the opportunity to get to know the offer of destinations, hotels, congress centres and other service providers specialised for business events.

This year's edition in Prague gathered more than 150 qualified business event organisers from various markets, among which were representatives of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Benelux countries, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the USA, the Scandinavian countries, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Central and Eastern Europe.

At this year's Events Club Forum, the Croatian MICE offer, alongside the Croatian National Tourist Board, was presented by representatives of companies and destinations Valamar, Sun Gardens Dubrovnik, Hilton Hotels Zagreb, Opatija, Ugljan, Dubrovnik and Bluesun Hotels & Residences.

Let us add that participating in specialised international MICE events is part of the continuous activities of the Croatian National Tourist Board aimed at positioning Croatia as an attractive and competitive destination for the meetings industry.

Apart from the transfer and exchange of knowledge and encouraging innovation, the meetings industry also plays an important role in extending the main part of the tourist year, since congresses, conferences, incentive trips and other business events are generally held outside the summer months, while the spending of participants is significantly higher than the average spending of tourists in Croatia.
