Cold coffee during a break does not cost the price of a coffee - it costs the next conference

The Croatian National Tourist Board made its first appearance at one of the most significant international business tourism trade shows, The Meetings Show, which took place on 25 and 26 June in London. It is the leading British B2B trade show specialising in the segment of business meetings, congresses, conferences and incentive travel, which gathers key decision-makers from the global meetings and incentives industry.
Alongside the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Zagreb Convention Bureau and the Dubrovnik Convention Bureau were also presented within the Croatian Destination Pavilion, promoting Croatia as an attractive and competitive destination for organising international business events throughout the year.

During the two-day trade show, a large number of business meetings were held with representatives of international agencies, corporations, professional congress organisers (PCO), incentive travel organisers and other experts from the event industry. Participants expressed great interest in the Croatian offer, particularly in high-quality hotel infrastructure, excellent transport connections, authentic experiences and sustainable and innovative content intended for business gatherings.
This year's edition of the trade show brought together more than 560 exhibitors from numerous European and world destinations, while the hosted buyer programme included almost 600 international hosted buyers and a total of around 1,500 qualified buyers. Hosted buyers arrived mostly from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Switzerland and the United States, or from key source markets for business tourism.
Croatia's first appearance at The Meetings Show represents an important step in the further positioning of our country on the international business tourism market, especially taking into account that the meetings and incentives segment is one of the key drivers of year-round tourism and that it creates high added value for destinations.
