According to the data from the Croatian National Bank (CNB), in the first quarter of 2026, revenues from foreign tourists amounted to 945.2 million euros, representing an increase of 9.2 per cent compared to the same period in 2025, which means 79.7 million euros more was generated.

"We are satisfied with the results we are achieving, and this revenue growth also follows excellent tourism indicators from the first quarter, in which we recorded 1.2 million arrivals and 3 million overnights, representing 9 per cent more arrivals and 8 per cent more overnights than in the same period last year. The positive trend continued throughout the entire pre-season, during which we again achieved record results. If we compare the revenues from foreign tourists with the first quarter of 2016, they are now higher by more than 509 million euros, meaning more than double, which clearly confirms the growth of competitiveness and value of Croatian tourism," said the Minister of Tourism and Sport, Tonči Glavina.
