From May 2027, Air Canada is introducing a new direct seasonal route between Dubrovnik and Montreal. Flights between Dubrovnik and Montreal will operate from 11 May to 24 October 2027 three times a week, which will once again directly connect Dubrovnik to Canada.
The new route will further strengthen the international connectivity of Ruđer Bošković Airport with the North American market and open up new opportunities for the development of tourist traffic between Croatia and Canada.
The introduction of the Dubrovnik - Montreal route is part of Air Canada's largest intercontinental network expansion to date. For the 2027 summer season, the company is announcing more than 125 international routes and up to 169,000 seats per week from Canada to over 85 international destinations.
An important link with the Canadian and North American market
The new direct connection with Montreal is of particular importance for Dubrovnik because it allows passengers from Canada an easier arrival in the Croatian south without connecting flights at European airports.
Montreal is one of the largest Canadian transport and economic hubs, and the new route will simultaneously provide passengers from Dubrovnik with easier connections to other destinations in Canada and North America through the Air Canada network.
For Dubrovnik's tourism, it is particularly important that the route will operate for almost six months, from mid-May to the end of October. The new route thus opens up additional possibilities for the growth of tourist traffic from Canada in the pre-season and post-season and for the further positioning of Dubrovnik in the segments of individual, premium and luxury travel.
Boeing 787 Dreamliner and premium offer
On the route to Dubrovnik, Air Canada will use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, including a premium cabin with fully flat seats.
The flights will be operated by an aircraft with Signature, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, offering passengers a high level of comfort and various travel options.
The use of the wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliner is additional confirmation of the potential that Air Canada sees in Dubrovnik and its tourist market, especially in the premium leisure travel segment.
