It is precisely from this need that Grounded Serenity Retreats was born – a sustainable premium retreat that will gather female entrepreneurs, directors and managers from 14 to 18 September 2026 at Materra Hotel in Čepin, in an intimate environment designed for the regeneration of body and mind.
The programme, organised by the Eventful agency and whose promotion was co-financed by the Croatian National Tourist Board, positions Slavonia as a new destination of quiet luxury and sustainable premium tourism.

For women who take care of people, teams and business results every day, time for themselves often becomes the last item on the priority list. Grounded Serenity Retreats was created precisely from this insight, in order to offer a place where they can stop, take a breath and simply be present for a few days, without pressure, expectations and making new decisions.
Mindfulness, gastronomy and sustainability in five days of complete peace
During the five days, participants will go through carefully designed sensory experiences that connect mindfulness, personal development, gastronomy, wine and art. The programme includes guided mindfulness sessions, creating their own personalised fragrance notes, authentic eno-gastro experiences through a visit to the Josić Winery and private Art & Wine sessions, with plenty of time for silence, rest and spontaneous connecting with women who share similar life experiences.
"Grounded Serenity Retreats arose from a real insight into the everyday life of women who manage complex systems and make strategic decisions every day, while at the same time chronically postponing time for their own rest. They care for employees, families, partners and businesses, and rarely have the opportunity to pause. I wanted to create a place where for five days they do not have to make a single decision, do not have to lead anyone or be responsible for everything. Just to be present, rest and reconnect with themselves," pointed out Maja Domijan, owner of the Eventful agency and creator of the Grounded Serenity Retreats concept.

A special value is added to the project by its sustainable philosophy. The entire retreat is organised according to the principles of sustainable events – from the careful selection of a hotel with high sustainability standards, the use of local and seasonal ingredients and waste reduction, to the complete absence of printed materials. Here, sustainability is not an addition to the programme, but a core value of the entire experience.
Grounded Serenity Retreats shows that premium tourism today is no longer a matter of opulence, but of the quality of experience, authenticity and space that enables true rest.
