From 22 to 25 April, Split is hosting the Amazing Dalmatia Experience (ADE), a business-focused tourism event. This boutique-format gathering connects around 35 Croatian service providers with 20 carefully selected US travel agency representatives and tour operators specialising in special-interest travel. Alongside a FAM trip across Central Dalmatia, the programme also includes a B2B workshop and a trade show.

Croatia and Dalmatia are attracting growing interest from American travellers, who are looking for authentic experiences, top-quality gastronomy, natural beauty and safety. In recent years, the US market has shown strong growth and has secured a high position among Croatia’s key source markets, according to HIT Dalmatia DMC, which is organising the event in cooperation with the US-based Travel Show Marketing Group.

"The upcoming business meetings between Croatian service providers and American agents and tour operators at Amazing Dalmatia Experience represent a strong boost to the further growth of arrivals from the US to Croatia and Dalmatia, especially ahead of the launch of the first direct air service between the United States and Split. American agents play an exceptionally important – and often decisive – role in the premium, luxury and ultra-luxury travel segments, which is why the Croatian National Tourist Board continues to invest consistently and strategically in developing cooperation with agents. We would also like to extend special congratulations to the organiser, HIT Dalmatia DMC, whose event further strengthens the international position of Central Dalmatia as one of the most desirable destinations for American visitors travelling to Croatia", said Leila Krešić-Jurić, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board’s North America Office.
